Just for information: My Ubuntu is not a fresh install. I upgrade Ubuntu 12.10 to 13.04 release.
PMJI, the screenshot is only displaying that the VMCI module is not successfully build.
That's OK, normally you would not need that module as it is for custom interfaces between VM's and VM and host only.
I'm actually surprised that it is being built as a standard module, I wonder why that is.
Are you currently having specific problems with your vmware tools or is this particular compile problem the issue?
