Monitoring LSI Megaraid 9240-8i in ESXi 5.1

Hi.

I have a whitebox with LSI Megaraid 9240-8i running ESXi 5.1

I would like to monitor the disk array state via vSphere client.  What do I need to do to achieve this?  Do I need to install any CIMs?  How?  I'm a newbie to vSphere.

I do have physical access to the host.  I don't have another host to migrate my machines to and my vCenter is running as a VM, so if a procedure requires entering maintenance mode, the vCenter VM will become unavailable.  Hence, I guess, a procedure that does not rely on vCenter is wanted.
